I received Jah Pickney's album (Ghetto Redemption) this morning. To be honest, in my view, until now, the only Christian reggae that has equaled the quality and authenticity of reggae from Jamaica's top artists has been Christafari - that is until now! This album is absolutely brilliant! My favourite track is "Truth". I love the lyrics and style. Jah Pickney has obviously worked very hard at learning Jamaican patois, I would never have thought he was Canadian. I also felt there was a strong spiritual, Bible-based message in each song and so my mind, emotions and spirit were all built up (not to mention it got my body moving too!) So thank you once again, this album is the most significant Christian album I have heard in the past two years and it deserves much air-play and distribution... if there is ever any chance of Jah Pickney coming to Scotland (or even UK) I would love to hear him. Pass on my encouragement and blessing on this young man's life. May he continue to apply 1 Timothy 4:12-14.

Dear Jah Pickney, I absolutely love your CD "From The Heart"! God has blessed you with an amazing talent...I managed getting your CD at Camp Ohahaseh....I ended up winning the CD!!The lyrics are wonderful!! I havent yet listened to your first CD "Jah Love" but I'm positive that it will be as good as "From The Heart"! My favourite songs from "From The Heart" would have to be "Helping Hand". Another one of my favourites would have to be "More Prayer" and of course the title track "From The Heart". I also really like "Jesus". At Camp Ohahaseh I had the most amazing experience!! The night after you performed(Thursday) the Holy Spirit went through me. It had never happened to me before, but it was truly an experience I will never forget! I have listened to your CD ever since I got home from camp!! I cant wait until next year, and I hope you will be there to perform for us!!! God Bless.

Hey there Jah (Pickney)! I love your show on the radio, and one day I hope to start my own music reveolution just like you. You've helped me to follow my dream and soon spread the word of God like butter on a slice of bread...or a lot of crackers...cause I'm allergic to bread. Never the less I hope that you get this and please write back..

Thanks Tim for the interesting news letter. Looks like you have a busy
schedule coming up and that is good. Grandpa and I are so thankful for
you and all our Grand children that you are serving God and walking
with Him, that to us is the most important thing that you can do in

I met the Lord when I was a member of the Rastafarian cult almost five years ago. I was in drugs and all but ever since Jesus visited me personally my life turned around...I still love reggae music so deep and I belive God wnats to use me fulltime in getting the gospel to the Rastas...Peace be unto you and your future projects. Hey Jah Pickney, I enjoy your music very much. I have not gotten a chance to purchase your cds yet due to lack of money but I have listened to them online and am looking forward to hearing more. I emailed you because you were called at a young age to be a missionary to Jamaica. I'm 16 and I have been called to be a missionary and I think to Jamaica... Jah Bless,

"...I just wanted to let you know that I copped a clip of Trinity Divinity from Soca Baptism. I see that you have been growing as an artist. Your deejay stylings have noticeably grown, showing ease...flipping through the words with rapid-fire cadence. It's good. You even seem a likkle more vicious on the mic. All good things. Anyway, I hope all is well with you. I pray that GOD continues to bless you, your family as well as your ministry. Blessings, "

"Yo, its nice to hear reggae with out Sellassie I or Rastafari or any of that stuff. I too am trying to get into this business and it inspires me to hear words of these...I am trying really hard to get into this business to spread the word and glorify the most high Jah and Jesus Christ. "Hey bro...Just a quick report to send praises up unto the Eternal Father for the blessing of hearing your music now broadcast across the UK and Europe! A few weeks back Mike Francis played a tune from each of your two albums on his show "Reggae Time" and he's been playing your stuff each week since. "Jah Love" and "What A Friend" (plus the dub) look like favourites at this point. Praise JAH for the work being done to share the gospel in all the earth. Higher Heights In Christ Jesus...EVERYTIME,"

"Dearest Jah Pickney Well here I am telling you how great your new album is. But I refuse to say things I don't mean, so everything I tell you is straight "From The Heart". I can't believe how much you've grown since "Jah Love". The music on your new CD is fabulous. I have to admit, you had me in tears when you sang "Hold On" last night (launch party for "From the Heart"). It's absolutely beautiful. Two of my other favorites have to be "Jamadian" and "I'll Pray For Her". Through each of your songs you give a different feel and emotion, but every single one, without exception, touches something inside the heart. I am so proud to know you and I wish you many many more years of success. God be with you"

"Ites mi bredren!
Much thanks and respect for "From The Heart"...It's a tuff production man!! You can be certain that a number of tracks will receive airplay both on "Positive Vibrations" over the airwaves and on "Lion Of Judah Soundsystem" on the net! Standout cuts right from the top are "Jamadian", "From The Heart", "More Time", "Helping Hand", "Look To God" and more...to early to say. But I love these new vibes and it will be nice to feature tunes from 'Jah Love' and the new disk. What a blessing and encouragement to see you and Stitchie linking up for a tune. A great combination at that!
